Go from City Lights to a comfy fireside and keep your toes toasty with these quick-to-crochet slippers. They work up very quickly in a Super Bulky yarn on a 9.0mm hook, and are made in once piece from toe to cuff so there is no seaming at the end.

Materials:
Approx 140 yds (for largest size) Super Bulky (CYCA 6) yarn in a wool or wool blend. Shown in 2 skeins Lion Brand Yarns Wool Ease Thick and Quick (80% acrylic/20% wool; 87 yds; 140g) in City Lights #617B (Affiliate link – Lion Brand Yarns)
Crochet hook size M/9.00mm or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
7 sts x 6 rows = 4” in sc in the round

Slipper:
Toe and Foot:
Make a magic ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring. Place marker in last st made and move marker up for each subsequent rnd of Toe and Foot. 6 sc
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. 12 sc
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Size S ONLY Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 5 sc) twice. 14 sc
Size M ONLY Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc) 4 times. 16 sc
Size L ONLY Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) 6 times. 18 sc
ALL SIZES:
Sc in each sc around until work measures 5” (6”, 7)” from start.
Heel:
Row 1: Sc on each of next 7 (9, 11) sc. Ch 1, turn. 7 (9, 11) sc
Row 2: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc2tog, sc across to last 2 sc, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. 5 (7, 9) sc
Rows 4 – 5: Rep Rows 2 – 3. 3 (5, 7) sc
Size S ONLY jump to Heel Turn.
Sizes M ONLY:
Row 7: Rep Rows 2 – 3. 3 sc
Size M ONLY jump to Heel Turn.
Size L ONLY:

Row 9: Sc2tog sc in next sc, sc2tog. Do not turn. 3 sc

Heel Turn:
ALL SIZES: Place marker in first sc of last row, this is now the start of rnd.
Rnd 1: Work 4 (4, 5) sc across side of heel, sc in each of the 5 (7, 7) sc across top of slipper, work 3 (3, 4) sc along side of heel. Marked st is now the first st of the rnd. 15 (17, 19) sc
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around.
Rnds 3, 5 and 7: Sc in next st, *dc in next st, sc in next st. Rep from * around.
Rnds 4 and 6: Dc in next st, *sc in next st, dc in next st. Rep from * around.
Rnd 8: Sl st loosely in each st around. End off.
Finishing:
Weave in ends.
