These were super quick to make, and if they look familiar, I used up some fabric scraps from the Reversible Baby Bibs I made last time.
Finished Size: 3” square
Materials:
Scraps work great for this project, otherwise each block requires one piece of fabric 8” x 12”
Poly Fil
Needle and thread
Note: 1/2” seam allowance allowed
Preparation:
Cut your fabric into 4” squares – you will need 6 squares for each block. Feel free to mix and match – they don’t all have to be the same print.
Block:
With right sides facing, sew 4 blocks together along one side.
Press seams open and flat.
Press the seam allowance back 1/2” towards the wrong side, on the two outer edges of the assembled strip.
With right sides facing, add one more square as shown, to be the top of the block. Stitch into place
Attach it to the strip on three remaining sides.
Repeat with the last square on the bottom of the block.
Clip the corners, and turn right side out, using something blunt and pointy to push the corners all the way out.
Stuff with Poly Fil.
Close the remaining open seam with needle and thread.
All done!
