One of my favorite indie dyers on the planet is Felicia Lo and the crew at SweetGeorgia! The bases are luscious to stitch with, and while I am always a sucker for depth of color, Lo achieves colors you simply don’t find anywhere else. So I present to you, the Solna Shawl.
Solna is very easy to learn, with a simple, 4-row repeat. The play between increases and decreases give it the sawtooth edge, and enough of a curve that it will rest nicely around your neck/shoulders.
One of the reasons I chose a puff stitch variation is because it enabled me to get different colors in each puff, accentuating the variations in the yarn.

Solna can be made in one skein of Tough Love Sock – if you have two, please give a little love to a piece I did for them last year, a shawl called the Gala Confetti.
