The Magic of Felting

I just love to felt – not sure why, but the presto-change-o part of it makes me grin like I have done something particularly clever. This is two strands of Felt It from Caron, knit together in stockinette stitch on sixe 15 needles. It was a swatch for a purse I was working on, but they have decided they don’t need it right now, and as busy as I am with other things, I bowed out of this exact project gracefully and with thanks! Three more things to go for them – a baby sweater, a dog sweater, and a throw. Thankfully the last two aren’t due until after TNNA.
Speaking of TNNA – I seem to always be speaking about TNNA! – I will have free copies of my book The Secret Language of Knitters to give away to attendees. Catch me both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Now that I type that I realize I am not sure what booth number, but it is a small one and I think near the front of the market.
RUmor has it the book will be in my hands today. I hope this rumor is true!
