So I got the big green scarf finished and boxed up, and went on to the next thing on my list for Caron. This is Super Soft Chunky. Now picture it sideways, scrunch your eyes up and think what it might be. Why yes, you are right, it IS a two needle hat pattern! Aren’t you clever?
I had a lovely if overly brief time at Maryland Sheep and Wool. I scored yet another needle case from Crippen Works (I am an addict), this one for circulars, two skeins of a chocolate brwon ribbon yarn from Tess’ Designer Yarns that wants to be a shrug for me to wear to TNNA with my new favorite brown dress, and the Kid and I bought a triangle loom to share. She loves to weave and I hate to warp, so this seemed like the best compromise on the planet.
Thankfully I bought no more livestock – Cameron T. Bunny is enough for me to feed and water right now. And the day was lovely – the ribbon fries were greasy, the root beer was delish, and there were a trillion animals who did not mind being petted. A good time was had by all.
Sounds wonderful. One day I would like to check it out.
