Finished Size: 7” wide (including edging) x 57” in circumference
Materials:
Approx. 600 yds worsted weight yarn (CYCA 4, Medium) in two colors. Model shown in Simply Me Luster (65% nylon/35% acrylic; 170g; 360yds), one skein each Obsidian (A) and Pearly (B).
Tunisian crochet hook size 8.00mm or size needed for a pleasing fabric. Gauge not critical for this pattern but not too tight or it will curl!
Traditional crochet hook size L/7.0mm for edging
Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
Ch – chain
Rep – repeat
Sc – single crochet
Sk – skip
Sl st – slip stitch
TSS – Tunisian Simple Stitch
Yo – yarn over
Notes:
For a clean color change, work the last yo, draw through 2 loops on hook of your old color with the new color. This keeps the two side edges looking the same, and keeps the floats away from the very edge.
For consistent floats, always pick up the new color of yarn to the left of the color you are dropping. See video for any questions!
Special Stitches:
All rows use the Standard Return as follows: Ch 1, *yo, draw through 2 loops on hook. Rep from * across until 1 loop remains.
All rows after Row 1 end with an edge stitch: On the forward pass insert your hook from right to left under the last vertical bar AND the strand of yarn behind it. Yo, draw up a loop and leave the loop on your hook.

Infinity Scarf:
With Tunisian hook and A, ch 20.
Row 1 forward: Beginning in 2nd ch from hook, insert hook front to back through the back/bump of each chain, yo, draw up a loop and leave the loop on the hook. 20 loops on hook
Row 1 return: Standard Return (see notes).
Row 2 forward: Sk 1st vertical bar, *insert hook from right to left under next vertical bar, yo, draw up a loop and leave the loop on the hook. Rep from * across to last st, edge st (see Special Stitches). 20 loops on hook.
Row 2 return: Standard return.
Rep Row 2 for pattern until work measures 19”.
Changed to B, rep Row 2 for pattern until work measures 38”.
Change to stripe pattern (working 1 row forward and return in alternating colors) until work measures 57”, ending with a B row.
Close the final row by working traditional crochet sl st across, working 1 st in each vertical bar and the edge stitch. End off B leaving a long tail for sewing. Do not end off A.
Assembly and Edging:
Fold the scarf so that the two short sides are together, then take the right hand short side and flip it 180 degrees to add a mobius twist. Using the B tail you left after ending off, whip stitch those short sides together.
Switch to the traditional crochet hook, picking up the A yarn where it is waiting for you, working traditional 1 round sc all the way around the mobius. See video for any confusion.
Weave in all ends.
