Coincidentally I have done three knitting needle reviews in 2025, not because it was some big plan of mine but because I had the opportunity to purchase two new styles of needles and one that was new to me! First up, the Addi Crasy Snake Lace double pointed needles. Lightweight metal, nice and pointy, and the curves should help newer knitters keep their stitches where they belong. Due out early (hopefully) Fall of 2025, and the MSRP will be $20.00.
The other new needles I purchased at H&H are the new Quads from Chiaogoo. They are interchangeable tips, and will integrate with the existing Chiaogoo cables and sets which is a definite plus. The needles are square and have a nice pointy tip. Due out before the end of 2025, I do not have an MSRP.
Lastly in this round I just purchased a set of Lykke Cypra copper DPNS. I liked these – and I feel like they are sturdy enough that I won’t bend them in half while knitting socks, like I so often do with their lighter weight counterparts. These are already out in the world – several online yarn shops carry them and the link above is to Etsy where I saw a few different sellers that have them. I am not sure what the standard MSRP is but I see them via search engine selling anywhere between $8 and $12.50 per set of five.
